What devices are supported?

Monitfy works on any Android device running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. This includes all major brands — Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, and more. iOS is not currently supported.

Do I need to root the device?

No. Monitfy works without rooting. It uses Android's built-in Accessibility Service API, which is available on all Android devices without any modifications.

Monitfy appears in the device's Accessibility settings, and Android shows a persistent notification when any accessibility service is active. We recommend transparent use — tell the device user they're being monitored.

Keystrokes, location, and app usage sync every 5 minutes. Gallery, call logs, SMS, and browser history sync every 15 minutes. Contacts and installed apps sync every 30 minutes. If the device is offline, data is stored locally and syncs automatically when connectivity returns.

Monitfy captures text typed in any app that uses a standard text input — this includes WhatsApp, Chrome, Instagram, SMS, email, and virtually all other apps. It captures what is typed, not what is received.
